Richard followed a similar path to Alan, joining the company at the age of 16, over 30 years later. Richard still runs the company, on the values instilled by both his father and grandfather all those years ago.

​Moved into bungalow 30th November hot water boiler not working, new to area so did not know who to call. My daughter-in-law had used R Dakin and Sons to fix her mum’s boiler had been very satisfied with their work so I gave them a call. My boiler, however, was irreparable. I had intended to replace central heating and hot water boiler with a Combi boiler so asked if they would do the job for me. I am pleased to say I am very satisfied with their work. They arrived promptly on day and time agreed, completed work when they said they would, were very polite and friendly their service was impeccable. I can recommend R Dakin and Sons and will not hesitate to contact them again.
